This year, Telecel Group is a sponsor partner of AfricaCom, the Largest African Telco, Media, and Technology Event. Taking place in Cape Town, South Africa on 12-14 November 2019, AfricaCom accelerates enterprise digital transformation to elevate African economies.
For the 4th year in a row, Telecel Group will be joining 15,000 attendees, 450 speakers and 500 exhibitors at AfricaCom to bring together innovators driving Africa’s Digital Transformation. This zoned exhibition is dedicated to disruptive new technologies such as, AI, IoT, blockchain, fintech, cloud, data centers and security, cutting-edge content and a host of networking opportunities. It is the place to meet experts in the telecoms and technology industry.
Telecel Group will partner with AfricaCom program AHUB, which enables Startups to share ideas, collaborate and connect with the most active and sophisticated VCs, funds and angel investors.
Telecel Group has selected 16 startups to exhibit at AfricaCom AHUB powered by Africa Startup Initiative which is a program launched by Telecel Group as part of its CSR activities. It contributes in a meaningful way to the African communities by supporting young entrepreneurs in all areas of technology related to innovation.
This will give the chance for the startups to exhibit at a premium location at the conference, giving them access and exposure to international technologies and organizations. A panel discussion will also be held at the AfricaCom 2019. The panel will allow the selected startups to present and voice their innovative ideas to a diverse audience of worldwide industry professionals and investors.
